Terms of Service – ElectriCAD

These Terms of Service (ToS) govern access to and use of the ElectriCAD application and services ("the Service"), published by Benoît Huvelle – ElectriCAD, Avenue d'Aix-la-Chapelle 33, 4020 Liège, Belgium (company number: BE 0606.959.880).

By creating an account or using ElectriCAD, you unreservedly accept these terms.

1. Service purpose

ElectriCAD is an online software allowing electricians and building professionals to create, manage and export electrical plans and diagrams.

The Service is accessible via a web browser and evolves regularly.

2. Service access

  • The Service is accessible to users with an account.
  • ElectriCAD reserves the right to limit access in case of maintenance, updates or technical incidents.
  • The user is responsible for their internet access and equipment.

3. Account creation and management

  • The user undertakes to provide accurate information during registration.
  • The account is personal and cannot be shared.
  • ElectriCAD may suspend or delete an account in case of non-compliance with these terms.

4. Data backup and availability

  • ElectriCAD implements regular backups and security measures in accordance with current standards.
  • Best effort: despite these efforts, ElectriCAD cannot guarantee 100% integrity and permanent availability of data (technical risks, failures, force majeure).
  • The user remains responsible for keeping, if necessary, a local copy of their important documents.

5. Intellectual property

  • Software, interfaces, logos, texts and images related to ElectriCAD are protected by copyright.
  • The user retains full ownership of their own documents and plans created with the Service.
  • The user authorizes ElectriCAD to process and store their documents solely to ensure the Service's operation.

6. Compliant use

The user undertakes to use the Service in accordance with the law and professional practices.

The following are prohibited:

  • fraudulent or abusive use of the Service,
  • attempted unauthorized access to systems,
  • unauthorized sharing of accounts or licenses.

7. Liability

ElectriCAD undertakes to implement all reasonable means to ensure the quality, reliability and security of the Service.

However, ElectriCAD cannot be held responsible in case of:

  • temporary interruption,
  • data loss despite backups,
  • indirect damages related to the use of the Service.

8. Personal data

ElectriCAD collects and processes certain personal data (name, email, documents) for the Service's operation.

Data management is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service and ToS evolution

ElectriCAD may evolve its Service and terms at any time.

The user will be informed in case of substantial modification.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Liège.
