Cookie policy

In short. Without your consent, we only set the cookies needed for things to work. Meta and Google advertising cookies are only set if you click "Accept". You can change your mind at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file the website stores in your browser. The browser's local storage works in the same way. This policy covers both.
2. Your choice
On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent to marketing cookies. "Accept" and "Decline" carry the same weight: declining does not take away any feature.
Your choice is stored in the ecad_consent cookie. It applies to all
ElectriCAD websites (www, my, docs) for 6 months; we then ask again, or sooner
if this policy changes.
To change your mind, click "Manage cookies" at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the marketing cookies we set.

4. Audience measurement (without cookies)
The website and the application use Vercel Web Analytics: it counts page views without cookies, without identifiers and without tracking you across websites. The data is anonymous and aggregated.

Meta and Google may also use their own cookies on their own domains (for example facebook.com or doubleclick.net), under their policies: Meta, Google.
6. Third-party content
- YouTube videos: nothing is loaded until you start playback. After that, YouTube may set its cookies.
- Booking a meeting: the website links to Calendly with a plain link. Calendly only sets its cookies if you open its page.
- Help center (docs.electricad.app): no cookies.
- Video school (school.electricad.app): hosted by Tella, which sets its own measurement cookies; see its policy.
7. Deleting cookies
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete
ecad_consent, the banner appears again. If you delete the login cookies, you
will need to log in again.
