Privacy policy

In short. We process the data needed to run ElectriCAD, invoice you and help you. We do not sell any data. Advertising trackers (Meta, Google) only work with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For any question or request: info@electricad.app.
1. Who is responsible for your data
ElectriCAD, Avenue d'Aix-la-Chapelle 33, 4020 Liège, Belgium, company number BE 0606.959.880 (legal notice), is the controller of the processing described here. Contact: info@electricad.app.
2. Two different roles
- Controller: for the data of website visitors, application users, our customers and people who contact us. This policy is about that.
- Processor: for the data of your own clients that you store in your documents (name, site address, phone…). You are responsible for it; we process it for you, under the data processing agreement.
3. The data, why, on what basis, for how long

We make no automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only entrust it to the providers we need, bound by contract, who may only use it for us.

We may also pass data to our accountant or advisers, who are bound by confidentiality, and to authorities when the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. You can obtain a copy on request.
6. Security
Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to documents is controlled workspace by workspace, down to the database. Passwords are stored encrypted. Data is backed up. Internal access is limited to what is necessary. No system is infallible: in case of an incident that concerns you, we will notify you as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You may at any time:
- access your data and get a copy;
- have it corrected;
- have it erased;
- ask us to restrict its use;
- receive it in a common format (portability);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and without giving a reason to information emails;
- withdraw your consent: "Manage cookies" at the bottom of every page, and the unsubscribe link in every information email.
Write to info@electricad.app from your account's email address. We reply within one month (at most three months for a complex request, in which case we let you know). We may ask you to prove your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. If you store your clients' data
When you store your clients' details or a site address in ElectriCAD, you are responsible for that data: inform your clients and store only what is needed. We process it for you under the data processing agreement.
9. Minors
The Service is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date of the current version is at the top of the page. In case of a significant change, we will notify you by email or in the application.
The French version of this text prevails over this translation in case of any difference.
