About ElectriCAD
ElectriCAD was founded by Benoît Huvelle, a residential electrician for nearly ten years and a developer. The first lines of code date back to 2019, with a clear idea: create a tool designed for the real needs of installers.
Around the founder gravitates a variable geometry team: developers, ergonomics experts, accessibility advisors, control bodies... and above all, the dozens of electricians met since the beginning of the project. Their field feedback, their habits and their constraints are directly integrated into the software's evolution. (Thank you to them 🙏)
Located at B3 in Liège, at the heart of an innovation ecosystem, ElectriCAD benefits from a creative dynamic that continuously feeds its development.
ElectriCAD has been used in production for more than a year. It was from July 2025 that communication was really activated, allowing to reach more than 500 active users created in just three months. It is these users, in the field, who validate every day the relevance and effectiveness of the tool.
ElectriCAD is establishing itself as a reference for creating electrical plans and managing residential installations. The solution is designed primarily for independents and small businesses, central players in the sector, who need a simple, effective tool adapted to their daily life.
